Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Hyperhidrosis is sweating well beyond what temperature or activity explains. It is common, it is medical, and it responds well to treatment — most people have simply never been told that.

Botox blocks the nerve signal that switches sweat glands on. Underarms are the most common site, palms and soles are also treatable. Results appear within a week and last four to six months, sometimes longer. Nothing is permanently altered; the effect simply wears off and is repeated.
