Rosacea and facial redness

Light-based treatment for persistent flushing, redness and visible vessels.

Rosacea shows up as flushing that stops going away, a background redness across the cheeks and nose, and often fine visible vessels. It is chronic, and it responds far better to treatment than most people expect.

Intense pulsed light targets the haemoglobin in dilated vessels and collapses them, which reduces both the visible vessels and the diffuse redness behind them. Three to five sessions a month apart is typical, with maintenance once or twice a year. Trigger management at home does the rest.
